Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You need to have a molar tooth removed that is impacted (stuck under the gum).
  • The surgery is expected to take between 20 minutes and 1 hour.
  • You are in good health (rated ASA I or II by your doctor).
  • Your BMI is 30 or less.
  • You do not have asthma, COPD, or other serious lung problems.
  • You do not have a condition that severely blocks your nasal passages.
