Who can take part
- A confirmed diagnosis of age-related voice changes (presbyphonia) with thinning of the vocal cords and normal vocal cord movement
- Ability to complete questionnaires and voice tests
- Normal to mild hearing loss when using hearing aids (if needed)
- No trouble swallowing liquids or pneumonia in the last year
- No vocal cord scarring, growths, or movement problems
- No neurologic condition affecting your voice (like Parkinson's or stroke)
- A memory/ thinking test score of 26 or higher (or 25 if you had 12 years of school or less)
