TyG index to predict coronary artery disease severity

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have had a heart attack or unstable angina, or you have stable heart disease and are scheduled for a coronary angiogram.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have not received clot-busting medicine (intravenous thrombolysis) before.
  • You are not on long-term statins or other cholesterol-lowering drugs.
  • You do not have myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle).
