Who can take part

  • Child must be between 6 and 11 years old
  • Child must have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea
  • Child must not have had surgery on their airway, nose, or throat
  • Child must not have any genetic or muscle disorders
  • Child must not be overweight or obese (BMI z-score below 1.645)
  • Child must not be taking medications that affect the immune system, like steroids or chemotherapy
