Who can take part

  • Your child might have sleep-disordered breathing, such as pauses in breathing or heavy snoring during sleep.
  • Your child has been referred for a sleep study (polysomnography) to monitor their breathing and sleep patterns.
  • You are covered by French social security.
  • Both parents or legal guardians must agree to let your child take part in the study.
  • You can understand and communicate in French well enough to follow instructions.
  • Your child does not have other health issues like brain, heart, or breathing problems that could affect the measurements.
  • Your child does not have skull, mouth, or airway birth defects that could affect the test results.
  • If your child has certain types of sleep apnea, they must be able to understand and follow simple instructions.
