Who can take part
- Your child must be between 6 and 17 years old.
- They must have moderate to severe sleep apnea (at least 5 breathing pauses per hour) that is worse when sleeping on their back.
- During the sleep study, your child spent at least 30 minutes sleeping on their back and 30 minutes in other positions.
- A parent or guardian must be able to give permission for the study.
- Your child cannot have certain other health issues like heart, lung, or nerve problems, or severe developmental delays.
