Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
  • Your disease stage is between 2 and 4 on the Hoehn and Yahr scale (you can still walk and stand, but may have some balance problems).
  • Your Parkinson's medications have been the same for at least 1 month before joining the study.
  • You do not have any other major neurological or psychiatric condition that would affect study results.
  • You have a score of 24 or higher on the Mini-Mental State Exam (a memory and thinking test).
  • You do not have a deep brain stimulator (DBS) implant or use DuoDopa therapy.
  • You do not have major bone, joint, muscle, or internal organ problems that affect walking.
