Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have early-stage (stage IA) non-small cell lung cancer that hasn't spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body.
- You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
- Your cancer does not have certain gene changes (EGFR, ALK, ROS1, RET) that are often treated with targeted pills.
- You have not had other anti-cancer drugs or immunotherapy in the last 6 months.
- You are willing to have thermal therapy as your first treatment, either because surgery isn't safe for you or you choose not to have surgery.
