Who can take part

  • You must be between 6 and 35 years old.
  • You must have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the last 100 days.
  • Your body must still make some insulin (a test called C-peptide measures this).
  • You must be willing to get a flu shot if it's flu season, and avoid live vaccines during the study.
  • You must not have a weak immune system, active infections, or certain medical conditions like heart disease or blood disorders.

Study of immune-modulating drugs for new-onset type 1 diabetes
