Who can take part

  • You are between 9 and 14 years old.
  • You have a BMI of 30 or more (BMI is a measure of body fat based on height and weight).
  • You have had obesity for longer than 1 year.
  • You do not have other health issues or take medicines that could affect your liver.
  • You are comfortable having an MRI scan (a special machine that takes pictures of the inside of your body using magnets).
