Comparing two new heart valves for TAVI

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • A team of heart doctors (heart team) has agreed that both types of valves (Evolut FX and Sapien 3 Ultra Resilia) are good options for you.
  • You will have the valve replacement through a blood vessel in your leg (femoral artery).
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to join the study.
  • The hospital where you have the procedure does a lot of these valve replacements (more than 75 a year).
  • The doctor doing the procedure has experience with both types of valves.
