Who can take part

  • You have severe aortic stenosis, meaning your aortic valve area is very small (1 cm2 or less).
  • Your heart team has decided you need a transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
  • Your ascending aorta (the large artery leaving your heart) is between 45 mm and 54 mm wide on a CT scan.
  • You are age 65 or older.
  • You have not had any past surgery on your aortic valve or aorta, and you do not have pure aortic regurgitation (leaky valve without narrowing).
