Who can take part

  • You have severe aortic stenosis that needs treatment with a valve replacement procedure called TAVR.
  • Your heart team agrees that TAVR is right for you.
  • You have not had a heart attack in the last 30 days.
  • You do not have another heart valve problem that is severe or a mechanical valve already in place.
  • You do not have active infection inside your heart or bleeding in your stomach in the last 3 months.
  • Your doctor expects you to live more than 12 months after the procedure.
