Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 85 years old.
  • You have mild memory or thinking problems, with a score of 18 to 26 on a standard memory test (MMSE) and a very mild dementia rating (CDR 0.5).
  • Your brain MRI confirms small spots in the deep parts of the brain (lacunes) or white matter changes, but not caused by a stroke, bleeding, or other conditions like multiple sclerosis.
  • You do not have severe trouble speaking, physical disability, or a history of brain injury, epilepsy, encephalitis, or alcohol/drug addiction.
  • You are not taking antipsychotic medications for more than five years, and you can safely have an MRI.
