Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have not had any previous treatment (like chemotherapy or surgery) for your liver cancer.
- You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer).
- The main tumor is in the liver and can be fully removed with surgery, and any small spread (in the liver or to one other organ) is limited.
- Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A) and you are in generally good health (ECOG score 0-1).
- If you have hepatitis B, your virus level is controlled with antiviral medicine.
