- You were treated for a broken cheekbone at Erasmus MC between January 2008 and June 2023.
- You were 18 years or older when you had your first treatment for this injury.
- Your medical records were complete and available for the study.
- You have not had any other facial injuries after the initial cheekbone fracture.
- Your fracture was not just a zygomatic arch fracture (a break in the bony arch of your cheek).
- You do not have a psychiatric or cognitive condition that would interfere with providing consent or completing questionnaires.
