Who can take part
- You have an unstable break in your cheekbone or upper jaw on one side of your face that needs surgery.
- You are done growing (skeletally mature).
- You are willing and able to come back for follow-up visits after surgery.
- You are willing to give permission (consent) to take part in the study.
- You do not have an eye socket floor fracture that needs surgery, an active infection, a pacemaker, or osteoporosis.
- You are not pregnant, do not smoke, and do not have a large bone defect that can't heal on its own.
