Who can take part
- You have atrial fibrillation that is persistent (doesn't stop on its own)
- You are 18 years or older
- You are able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants or severe claustrophobia)
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or lower
- You have not had a prior ablation in the left atrium
- You do not have severe heart valve disease or severe pulmonary hypertension
