Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with moderate or severe generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
- Your current anxiety symptoms are not well controlled despite taking one of these approved medications for at least 6 weeks: paroxetine, venlafaxine XR, duloxetine, escitalopram, or buspirone.
- You are willing to continue your current medication at the same dose during the study.
- You have not previously tried more than 3 of these approved anxiety medications without success.
