Who can take part

  • You must be diagnosed with type 1 narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, or be a healthy person without a sleep disorder.
  • You need to use a smartphone regularly for the study.
  • You cannot have untreated moderate or severe sleep apnea.
  • You must be on stable sleep medications (no recent changes) and cannot be taking sodium oxybate.
  • You cannot have unstable medical or psychiatric issues, diabetes, or be pregnant or breastfeeding.
