Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with narcolepsy or idiopathic hypersomnia by a sleep specialist
  • You are age 18 to 75, and your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 40
  • You are already prescribed one of the study’s usual hypersomnia medicines (like modafinil, pitolisant, solriamfetol, or oxybate types)
  • You can delay starting or changing that medication until after the initial baseline checkups (or stay on a stable dose if you’re switching in a specific way)
  • No medication changes in the last 45 days
  • No pregnancy or breastfeeding
