Axitinib and low-dose etoposide for relapsed brain tumors in children

Who can take part

  • You have a type of brain tumor called medulloblastoma or ependymoma.
  • The tumor has come back or is not responding to standard treatments.
  • You are between 4 and 25 years old and weigh more than 44 pounds (20 kg).
  • You can swallow pills (capsules) and are overall well enough to go about daily activities (Karnofsky or Lansky score of 70% or higher).
  • Your blood counts, heart, kidney, and liver function are within safe limits (checked by tests).
  • If you are of childbearing age, you agree to use effective contraception and must have a negative pregnancy test before starting.
