  • You are over 40 years old
  • Your symptoms (trouble walking, memory issues, or bladder control) started 3 to 24 months ago
  • You have trouble walking, plus either memory or bladder problems (or both)
  • You do not have another condition that fully explains your symptoms
  • You have not had brain surgery before
  • You are willing to have a lumbar puncture to test how you respond to fluid removal
