Who can take part

  • You are 12 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with OTC deficiency by a doctor.
  • You have had symptoms of high ammonia in the past, but your condition has been stable for at least one month.
  • You are on a stable treatment plan (diet, supplements, or medicines) for at least 28 days.
  • You have not received gene therapy or stem cell therapy for OTC in the past 2 years.
  • You do not have a history of organ transplant, cancer (except treated skin cancer), or certain heart or liver problems.
