  • You had a stroke caused by a blood clot (ischemic stroke), not a bleeding stroke.
  • You have had only one stroke in your life.
  • Your stroke happened less than 2 years ago.
  • You are medically stable and able to understand the study procedures.
  • You do not have serious memory problems, mental health disorders, or other neurological diseases.
