  • Fasting triglycerides between 150 and 500 mg/dL
  • HDL (good) cholesterol 40 or lower (men) or 50 or lower (women)
  • LDL (bad) cholesterol above 40 and at most 130 mg/dL
  • Agree to eat no more than 3 servings of fatty fish per week
  • Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
