Thinking skills program for kids with complex heart defects

Who can take part

  • You are between 9 and 13 years old.
  • You were born with a complex heart condition (congenital heart disease) and had heart-lung bypass surgery before your first birthday.
  • You have some trouble with thinking skills (like planning or paying attention), shown by a score of 60 or higher on a screening called the BRIEF.
  • Both you and your parent or guardian understand German well enough to complete the study tasks and questionnaires.
  • You do not attend a special school for children with disabilities (separative special education school).
