  • You are 18 or older
  • You have had kneecap pain for at least one month that is worse with squatting, climbing stairs, or sitting for a long time
  • Your pain keeps you from playing sports or being active
  • You have not had knee surgery on that knee
  • You do not have other knee problems, back issues, or take blood thinners
