Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not smoke or use recreational drugs.
  • You cannot be a restrained eater (someone who often limits their eating).
  • You are not vegan.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no blood clotting disorder.
  • You are not taking medication for heart disease or metabolic conditions like diabetes.
  • You do not have a pacemaker.
  • You are not on a calorie-restricted diet and have not lost more than 5% of your weight in the last 3 months.
  • You are not an elite athlete.
  • You do not have difficulty swallowing.
  • You have no food allergies or intolerances.
  • You have no gastrointestinal disease or inflammation (like Crohn's or colitis).
