Treatments studied

Part of Brain & nervous system, Mental health clinical trials.

This trial tests an investigational drug called AMDX-2011P for people with Alzheimer's disease. It looks at whether the drug affects the retina, which may be linked to brain changes in Alzheimer's.

Eye scan study for mild Alzheimer’s and memory changes

This study uses detailed eye imaging (an eye scan) to look for signs related to probable Alzheimer’s disease and mild dementia. It may help researchers understand whether eye scans can reflect brain changes and improve detection.

Retina immune cell study for dry AMD, MCI, or mild Alzheimer's

This study uses a special dye and imaging to see if certain immune cells (dendritic cells) travel to the retina. It aims to understand how the immune system might play a role in dry age-related macular degeneration, mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's, or early Alzheimer's disease.

NCT07221344Recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Study of an experimental drug for early Alzheimer's disease

This study tests an investigational drug, ARO-MAPT-SC, which targets a protein involved in Alzheimer's disease. It is for people with early Alzheimer's to see if the drug is safe and can slow the disease.

First human study of a new Alzheimer's drug

This study tests an experimental drug (LY3954068) for people with early Alzheimer's disease. It aims to see if the drug is safe and may slow memory loss. You'll need a PET scan to measure tau protein in the brain and have a study partner who can help attend appointments.

NCT06957418Recruiting· Phase 2
Alzheimer's tau drug study for early stage patients

This trial tests a treatment targeting tau protein buildup in the brain for people with early Alzheimer's. You may join if you have memory or thinking changes but are still living independently, and brain scans show both amyloid and tau clumps.
