Who can take part
- You are either a healthy man aged 19–45 (Part I) or a person with moderate Alzheimer's disease aged 55–85 (Part II).
- For Part II: You must have a diagnosis of moderate Alzheimer's with an MMSE score of 10–19 and a CDR global score of 2, and it must be within the last 5 years.
- You must have a positive amyloid PET scan and high levels of certain proteins (P-tau181 and osteopontin) in your blood.
- You need a steady caregiver to help you during the entire study.
- Your weight must be between 55 and 90 kg (121–198 lbs) and your BMI between 18 and 30.
- You cannot have certain heart problems, other types of dementia, or unstable psychiatric conditions.
