Who can take part
- You are scheduled for major lung surgery at least 2 weeks from now
- You are at least 50 years old
- You have a smartphone for communication and image sharing
- You have an adult care partner who can help place ear seeds
- You are not allergic to Vaccaria seeds (a plant seed used in the therapy)
- You do not have eczema, frostbite, or sunburn on your ears
