Who can take part
- You had chest surgery (thoracotomy) for the first time
- You are awake, alert, and able to follow instructions
- You have a chest drain after surgery
- You are classified as ASA I, II, or III (low to moderate surgical risk)
- You can speak Turkish and have no hearing or vision problems
- You have not had chemotherapy in the last 6 months
- You do not have a body mass index (BMI) over 30
- You do not have a diagnosed anxiety disorder or panic disorder
