Who can take part
- You need a new fistula (not a repair of an old one) that connects a vein to an artery, either in your forearm or upper arm.
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You cannot be pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
- You must be able to attend follow-up appointments for a full year.
- You cannot have a known allergy to nitinol (a metal alloy used in the implant).
- You cannot have certain blood clotting disorders or a kidney transplant planned within the next year.
