- You are having reconstructive surgery after cancer with a free flap from your leg, thigh, or lower belly area.
- The flap must be one of these types: fibula, ALT, DIEP, or PAP.
- You do not have malnutrition or a condition that prevents nutrient absorption.
- You do not have vasculitis or connective tissue disease.
