  • You are between 21 and 75 years old.
  • You haven't had a large weight change (more than 5%) in the last 2 months.
  • You do not have type 2 diabetes or any major organ disease.
  • You have not had cancer in the last 5 years.
  • You haven't had weight-loss or stomach/intestine surgery (except gallbladder or appendix removal).
  • You are not currently smoking or using illegal drugs.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You can temporarily stop any medications that might interfere with the study.
