Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (cancer that has spread beyond one side of the chest).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT or MRI scan (at least 1 cm in size).
  • You are able to take care of yourself (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • You have not received any prior cancer treatment for extensive-stage disease, or if you had treatment for limited-stage disease, it ended at least 6 months ago.
  • Your vital organs (like heart, liver, kidneys) are working well.
