  • You have been diagnosed with non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) by a doctor.
  • You are between 10 and 55 years old.
  • You are right-handed.
  • You are willing to take part and sign a consent form (if under 18, a parent or guardian must also sign).
  • You can understand written language and fill out questionnaires.
  • You have not had a seizure, do not have certain other medical or mental health conditions, and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
