Who can take part

  • You have a neck-level spinal cord injury (C8 or above) that is incomplete (some movement and feeling below the injury).
  • Your injury happened between 1 and 10 years ago.
  • You can still pinch small objects, like a marble, between your thumb and index finger.
  • You do not have any ear problems like cuts, sunburn, or pain at the stimulation site.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, metal implants in your head, or a history of heart problems.
