Nerve stimulation for arm movement after stroke

Who can take part

  • You are between 55 and 75 years old.
  • Your stroke happened more than 6 months ago and was confirmed by brain imaging.
  • You can move your unaffected arm on purpose and have some movement in your affected shoulder against gravity.
  • You can extend your affected wrist at least 5 degrees while holding your arm up against gravity.
  • You do not have any other neurological disorders like Parkinson's or dementia, and you have no metal implants in your brain or history of seizures.
  • You are able to communicate effectively.
