Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for weight-loss (bariatric) surgery.
  • You are between 16 and 65 years old.
  • You have had steady weight gain for over 5 years and have a BMI of 35 or higher.
  • Your health status before surgery is classified as ASA Grade II or III (mild to moderate health concerns).
  • You do not have severe eye problems, alcohol or drug dependence, or serious mental disabilities.
