Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or higher.
  • Your physical health is classified as ASA I, II, or III (a doctor can check this).
  • You have not had a respiratory infection in the last 4 weeks.
  • You do not have severe lung, heart, kidney, or blood diseases.
  • You have not had lung or chest surgery, and you do not have nerve or muscle problems.
