Who can take part

  • You must have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has come back or not responded to at least one prior treatment.
  • It has been at least 2 weeks since your last cancer treatment (except for hydroxyurea).
  • You are able to be up and about (ECOG score 0-2).
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and you agree to use effective birth control if needed.
  • You do not have another active cancer (except for certain skin cancers or treated cervical cancer).
