Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old
- You have either advanced clear cell kidney cancer or a tumor related to VHL syndrome
- You are able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0 or 1) and expected to live at least 3 months
- You agree to use birth control during the study and are not pregnant or nursing
- You cannot have had certain cancer treatments or major surgery within the last few weeks
