  • You are 10 to 17 years old and at least one parent or guardian is willing to take part
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of PKU from newborn screening and started treatment in your first 30 days of life
  • You are interested in learning skills to help with anxiety or depression
  • You live in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois
  • You do not have a significant intellectual disability or major language difficulties that would make therapy hard
  • You are not planning to start another therapy or change your current medications during the study
