Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You had a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital and your heartbeat was restored (ROSC).
  • You are still unconscious after your heartbeat came back.
  • You are receiving full life support without any limits.
  • You are being treated at a hospital that is part of the STEPCARE trial and has the Brainstatus device.
