EEG Study to Predict Recovery After Brain Injury

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You were able to do daily activities on your own before the brain injury.
  • You have had a brain injury in the last 28 days.
  • You are not following commands (like squeezing a hand on request) on at least two medical checks.
  • Your doctors can safely pause any IV sedatives for at least 10 minutes.
  • Your ICU team says it's safe to put a special 64-electrode EEG cap on your scalp.
