Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a blockage in the main artery of your pelvis or upper leg (iliac artery)
- Your leg symptoms are moderate to severe (Rutherford score 2–5), like pain while walking or sores that won't heal
- You are not allergic to blood thinners, contrast dye, or the stent materials
- You can take two blood-thinning medicines (aspirin plus another) after the procedure
- You have not had surgery or a balloon procedure on the same leg in the last month
