Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older
  • You must have a confirmed genetic diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) – but not the specific mutation called AD-NR2E3
  • Your eyes must have some remaining photoreceptor cells (the light-sensing part of the retina) as shown by an OCT scan
  • You must not have had gene therapy or cell therapy for your eyes before – unless it was the study treatment OCU400
  • You must not have had any eye surgery within the last 3–6 months (depending on the type of surgery)
