Who can take part

  • The child must be under 2 years old and scheduled for surgery with general anesthesia.
  • The child must be in good general health or have only mild health issues (ASA 1 or 2).
  • The child cannot have heart, kidney, bladder, severe liver, or bleeding disorders.
  • The child must not have had an allergic reaction to rocuronium or any anesthetics.
  • Both parents (or guardians) must agree to the child's participation in the study.
